Why We Built This Site
Utah permits access to many court dockets and case files, subject to the Utah Code of Judicial Administration and record classifications. Finding the custodian is often the harder step. Rich County District Court keeps felony, class A misdemeanor, and most civil files. Rich County Justice Court keeps county traffic, lower-level misdemeanor, ordinance, and small-claims files. XChange provides the statewide public case-history layer, while the clerk handles records that are not available there. We bring those distinct contacts, search methods, case fields, and request routes together for Rich County.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Rich County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Utah court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They operate their own products and establish their own prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this free reference resource. We neither set those charges nor control the records returned by a partner.
